Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By signing up for a QRDinesOS account, or by continuing to use the product on an account we onboarded for you in person, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the product.

2. What QRDinesOS is

QRDinesOS is software that runs QR menu ordering, a kitchen display, staff logins, bills, and reports for restaurants. It is delivered as a web-hosted service. It is not a payment gateway, a POS till, a card reader, an accounting package, or a food-delivery marketplace.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts in India.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe, including staff PINs.
• You are responsible for what your staff do with the product.
• One account is one restaurant. Two outlets = two accounts unless we've told you otherwise in writing.

4. Plans and billing

• Prices are on the pricing page and are in Indian Rupees, per outlet, per month, exclusive of any taxes.
• Payment is handled by Razorpay. When Razorpay charges you, we upgrade your plan.
• You can downgrade or cancel at any time. See our refund policy.
• We may change prices. Existing subscriptions keep their price for at least the current billing cycle plus 30 days' notice.

5. What we promise (uptime)

We target 99.5% monthly uptime for the tenant-facing product. If we miss it two months in a row we'll extend your subscription. We do not offer a separate SLA credit — the product is a small-business tool, priced as one.

6. What we do not promise

• QRDinesOS is provided "as is". No warranty for a particular purpose.
• We are not liable for lost revenue caused by a service interruption, a printer that jams, or a payment provider that goes down.
• The total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by Indian law (gross negligence, wilful misconduct, personal injury).

7. Your data

You own your data. We process it on your behalf, as described in the privacy policy. If you close your account, you can export your bills, orders and menu; after 90 days we delete the account and the backups roll over.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use QRDinesOS to break the law, take payments for prohibited goods, run more restaurants than your plan covers, resell or sub-license the product, or knock at our infrastructure. We will suspend accounts we believe are misusing the product; where reasonable we contact you first.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Chandigarh. Nothing in this clause removes any right the Consumer Protection Act 2019 gives you.

10. Changes

We update these terms occasionally. Material changes are emailed to every account owner and take effect 30 days later. Trivial fixes take effect on publication.
